John Randall, Tech Titans Awards Gala Judge Co-Chairman, President, Zyvex Labs
John Randall, who is the awards judging chairman, has worked for Texas Instruments, MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory, and is currently the President of Zyvex Labs. During his 30 years in micro- and nano-fabrication, he has become a senior member of the IEEE and is a Fellow of the Society of the AVS.
Tanis Cornell, Tech Titans Award Gala Judge Co-Chairman, Owner, Dallas Market, EWF International
Tanis Cornell is the awards judge co-chairman. She has spent 30 years in senior management positions across the industry, including at WilTel, Level 3 Communications and PhaseWare, where she was also a partner. She is on the executive committee of our board of directors and is owner of the Dallas market for EWF International.
Sree Koratala, Vice President of IP and Transport, Ericsson
Sree Koratala is vice president of IP and transportation at Ericsson, and has also worked as head of information and communications technology solutions for the AT&T sales team. During the decade she has spent working in radio access networks, she was the technical lead for the first 3G introduction in North America. She has 17 years of experience in the telecom industry and has been with Ericsson since 1998.
George Brody, Chairman, Richardson US IGNITE Executive Steering Committee
George Brody is chairman of the Richardson US IGNITE executive steering committee and currently spends much of his time giving back to the community through technology ventures. Prior to that, he has worked for large companies like Nortel and their Bell Northern Research Labs in Richardson, as well as undertaking an entrepreneurial venture with GlobeRanger, which was acquired by Fujitsu in 2014.
Stacie Hyatt has worked for medtech giants like Plexon, Medtronic and St. Jude Medical. Besides her work in cardiac, neurosurgical, and wellness disciplines, she also serves on the Salvation Army’s Carr P. Collins Advisory Council, is a tri-chair for Tech Titans’ health technology forum, and is a member of Tech Titans’ board of directors.
ShaChelle Devlin Manning, Director, Corporate Innovation, Pioneer Natural Resources
ShaChelle Devlin Manning is director of corporate innovation at Pioneer Natural Resources. She is on the board of directors for Astrotech Corporation, which sends materials to space, and she is also co-founder of investment partnership Malibu IQ. She also has had the distinction of being appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to serve on the Texas Emerging Technology Fund.
Rich McBee, President and Chief Executive Officer, Mitel
Rich McBee is president and CEO of Mitel, which under his leadership has doubled its revenue and become a global leader in the business communications market. He has had more than 25 years of experience in telecom, which includes work with Danaher Corporation and Tektronix Communications.
Jeff Meier, Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, Fujitsu Network Communications Inc.
Jeff is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Fujitsu Network Communications Inc., where has worked since 1997. Jeff has also been the North American Chief Information Office and during his time in that position he was responsible for building the first shared IT Services Group that supported all Fujitsu North American subsidiaries. Previously, he has worked for Nortel, Avery Dennison, and Norton.
Skip Moore, Practice Leader, Technology/Media/Telecommunications(TMT), Deloitte
Skip Moore, as practice leader for the technology/media/telecommunications vertical for Deloitte, is responsible for overseeing the sourcing and quality of service delivery for Deloitte, where he has been a partner for 28 years. He serves on UT Dallas Jindal School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council and is on the advisory board for the DFW Alliance for Technology and Women.
Kent Novak, Senior Vice President and General Manager, DLP Products, Texas Instruments Incorporated
Kent Novak is senior vice president and general manager of DLP Products at Texas Instruments. Earlier he spent 15 years in the telecom industry working for leaders such as Bell Labs, AT&T-Network Systems, DSC Communications, Alcatel, and Corvis. He is also past chairman of the board of Tech Titans.
Lin O'Neill, Lead Faculty for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program
Lin O’Neill works as a consultant in businesses of all sizes and revenue levels, with success across the board. She is currently DFW instructor for the SBA’s Emerging Leaders program, lead faculty for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, and DFW instructor for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber’s New Scale Up program for entrepreneurs. In Texas, she has founded Entrepreneurs Dallas and Entrepreneurs Fort Worth.
Jonathan Shapiro, Director, Venture Department, The University of Texas at Dallas
Jonathan Shapiro is director of the venture department for the University of Texas at Dallas. He founded nonprofit research center The Texas Institute in 2009, which specializes in advanced energy technology and policy research. He has also served in management positions at IBM, ROLM Telecommunication, Intervoice, and Octel Communications.
Michael Sherrod, William D. Dickey Entrepreneur in Residence, TCU Neely School of Business
Michael Sherrod is the William D. Dickey Entrepreneur in Residence at the TCU Neely School of Business. He has founded or co-founded over a dozen companies and has served in senior management roles at AMR Information Services, AOL.com, Ancestry.com, and examiner.com, where he was also founding president and CEO.
Greg Smith, Former President & CEO, Accudata Technologies
Greg Smith is the former president and CEO of Accudata Technologies, where he led rapid expansion into new markets and technologies. He has 35 years of experience in telecom and has held senior level management positions at Intervoice and IBM/ROLM/Siemens. A former Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer in the US Army, Smith was also awarded The Congressional Veterans Commendation by Congressman Sam Johnson.
Debra Wawro Weidanz, CEO & Chief Scientist, Resonant Sensors, Inc.
Debra Wawro Weidanze is CEO and chief scientist at Resonant Sensors, Inc, and she is an inventor of the guided-mode resonance sensor technology being commercialized by Resonant Sensors. She has led research related to analyzing and developing drug delivery methods for chemotherapeutic agents at the UT Southwest Medical Center in Dallas and holds several issued and pending patents.
