Matt talks about the space industry and the specific company he's been leading for the last decade. Iridium, one of the nation's largest telecom failures in the 1990s, is now thriving and has grown significantly under his direction, and is a leader in providing mobile satellite services for maritime, aviation, government and the Internet of Things. They are in the middle of a $3 billion dollar network transition with 81 new satellites launched by SpaceX, all to complete a new network in 2018. Space is experiencing a resurgence now, similar to the go-go 1990s, and Matt will describe this "Space 2.0" race, and what the implications of that will be for global communications.
