Tech Titans supports efforts to give our kids the best opportunities, especially in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Find out what STEM summer camps are available in the area below. Some camps and links may not be up-to-date, but we'd prefer to give you options to investigate. 

If you are interested in posting any STEM related camps or activities on this page (and are a Tech Titans member), please email amy@techtitans.org with the following information:

Information Technology and Systems Summer Camp

June 19-23, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The ITS Academy allows rising high school students to spend five days on the UT Dallas campus interacting with current Naveen Jindal School of Management information and technology systems (ITS) students and faculty members. Instructors will teach and provide the students with a variety of activities including building a functioning computer, telling dynamic stories using data, visiting two corporate sites, touring the UT Dallas campus, and exploring object oriented programming. Students will learn a vast amount of new information about the field and be able to plan their college careers in ITS in an easy and more educated manner. ITS more than you think!

iD Tech

Students develop real-world tech skills and experience firsthand how interests can turn into a college degree and future career. Led by hip, tech-savvy instructors, kids and teens code apps, design video games, mod with Minecraft, engineer robots, build websites, produce films, and more. Courses contain only 8 students per instructor, while participants develop an online portfolio and debut their final project at the end of the week. Check out the STEM programs and register here

From Kindergarten to High School, SMU Summer Youth has something for everyone.  During the eight-week program, you can choose between 200 diverse camps that allow you to explore your artistic side, become an engineer, game your way through day or enhance your academic skills. You’ll have so much fun, you won’t even know you’re learning.

UTD Coding Camps


Latest surveys and news reports indicate that the US will continue to see a serious shortage of software professionals for the foreseeable future. So, computer programming is expected to be a high-paying & marketable skill for years to come. Even if you decide to pursue a career in another field, it is very likely that you will use a computer on the job! Basic programming skills can enable you to be more efficient in your job & try something new!! Almost every one can learn to program if they are willing to think and try. Yet, we see significant % of middle & high school students making career choices, without knowing the meaning of the term “computer programming!” Ok, how can you assess your interest level? How to check whether you have the mindset to enjoy programming? There is one simple way to find out – Jump in there, write a few programs and see for yourself!

Design Connect Create! Physics Camps for Young Women

Design Connect Create! is an immersive hands-on experience for every student to explore and have fun with physics. Students form a deep understanding and build confidence to move forward and persist in STEM. Labs, female guest speakers, interactive problem solving and engineering challenges fill our action packed days as we explore classic and modern topics in physics.
